HULK DEFENSEUncrewed underwater vessels

Terms of use

These terms govern your use of hulkdefense.com. They do not govern the supply of any vessel, equipment or service — that is done through a signed contract.

1 · Who publishes this site

This site is published by Hulk Defense Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Contact info@hulkdefense.com. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2 · Permitted use

You may read, print, download and share pages of this site for your own business evaluation or internal reference. You may quote short extracts with attribution to Hulk Defense Inc.

3 · Intellectual property

The HD-18 design, the engineering model behind it, the drawings, the renderings, the text, the layout and the Hulk Defense name and marks are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other rights.

Without our prior written permission you may not: republish or redistribute the renderings, drawings or technical figures commercially; use them in a tender, proposal, prospectus or marketing material of your own; present them as your own design or as evidence of your own capability; use them to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model; systematically scrape, mirror or bulk-download the site; or remove or obscure any attribution.

Permission for legitimate press, analyst and academic use is normally given quickly — ask.

4 · Technical content and imagery

All technical figures are calculated design values from the V10 engineering model and all images are computer-generated visualisations. No image is a photograph of a physical vessel. The programme status, the basis of every figure and the limits of what is claimed are set out in full in the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms and which you should read before relying on anything here.

5 · No offer and no contract

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment as to specification, performance, schedule or price. No contract arises from your use of this site or from any enquiry you send through it. A binding relationship is created only by a written agreement signed by an authorised officer of Hulk Defense Inc.

6 · Confidentiality of technical documentation

Technical documentation is released only under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Where you receive such documentation, the terms of that agreement govern it and prevail over these terms to the extent of any conflict.

7 · Export control and lawful use

Access to this site does not grant any right to receive controlled technology. You are responsible for complying with the export-control, sanctions and end-use laws that apply to you. See export and use.

8 · Availability

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

9 · Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided as is and we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from use of or reliance on this site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10 · Third-party links

Where we link to a third-party site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content, its accuracy or its privacy practices.

11 · Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice.

12 · Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings to protect our intellectual property in any competent court.

13 · General

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may update these terms; the date below shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
